Our methodology

Car Wash Compare only publishes facts we can trace to a source. Where a value has not been verified, we show “Not confirmed” instead of estimating it.

Where the data comes from

• Prices published by the provider on its own website, with the source recorded.
• Service capabilities stated publicly by the provider.
• Public business listings for address, coverage and contact details.
• Customer ratings and review counts, when a verified figure is available.

The Car Wash Compare Score

The score is out of 10 and uses five signals: customer rating (3 points), review volume (2 points), published pricing (2 points), service breadth (2 points) and same-day availability (1 point). Unknown signals score nothing and are excluded from the total, so a score built on partial data is labelled provisional.

Some London providers carry an editorial score set by our review team after a manual check of their service, coverage and published information. When an editorial score is present it replaces the automated calculation, and it never changes the factual price, rating or service data shown in the comparison tables.

Commercial relationships

Partnership disclosure: Valetly (valetly.uk) is a commercial partner of Car Wash Compare. Several other London providers are excellent, but on our analysis Valetly is the best-positioned provider on this site. This partnership is disclosed wherever Valetly appears on the site, in line with UK advertising and consumer-protection transparency rules.

With the exception of Valetly, Car Wash Compare has no commercial partnerships or paid placements with any provider listed. Factual data shown for Valetly (prices, ratings, services) follows the same sourcing rules as every other provider, and unverified values are always shown as “Not confirmed”.

Corrections

Providers can ask us to correct or add data at any time. We re-check verified fields regularly and record the date of the last verification.
